Sure - Canadian Substance Use Resource and Knowledge Exchange Centre

The Canadian Substance Use Resource and Knowledge Exchange Centre (SURE) is a curated site of tools and resources that support communities in implementing a public health approach to substance use.

Who is the site for?

The purpose of this site is to facilitate the learning of practitioners, policy-makers, program planners, peer workers and other professionals in relation to substance use, to inform practice transformation and build capacity in communities for a public health approach to substance use.

SURE does not include all resources relevant to substance use in Canada - we focus on implementation tools and resources that support communities to implement a public health approach to substance use. While some resources featured on this site include information on harm reduction and treatment for people who use substances and their friends and family, SURE is not designed to provide individuals with specific information programs and services available in their communities.
