SURE is dedicated to increasing access to evidence-based information and resources to support communities in implementing a public health approach to substance use. Content and resources made available on SURE are curated from publicly available sources including public health organization websites, both Canadian and international, and from grey literature searches. Curated content is reviewed based on the credibility of the original source and against inclusion and exclusion criteria by staff from the Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA).
SURE content and resources are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure the site continues to meet the needs and expectations of its users.
The SURE website is managed by the Canadian Public Health Association and the development of the site has been made possible through funding from the Health Canada Substance Use and Addictions Program (SUAP). The views expressed herein do not necessarily represent the views of Health Canada.
