Sure - Canadian Substance Use Resource and Knowledge Exchange Centre

Treatment refers to a range of programs and services, primarily focused on substance use disorder. It is important to recognize that what works for one person may not work for someone else. Treatment is one of many possible pathways. We also recognize that treatment and harm reduction exist on a spectrum and that treatment and recovery are not interchangeable terms. Please note that some clinical treatment options are reflected under “harm reduction” (e.g. medication-assisted therapies, etc). Visit the Harm Reduction topic page to learn more.
