Sure - Canadian Substance Use Resource and Knowledge Exchange Centre

By presenting the best available evidence for PMP program features and practices at the present time, this review provides Canadian jurisdictions with valuable information to assist in implementing the recommendations of the First Do No Harm strategy with respect to PMPs. Jurisdictions interested in initiating or enhancing a PMP can use the information in this report to evaluate their own programs and to consider the implementation of additional features based on the best available evidence. It is hoped that this review will also strengthen efforts in information sharing and standardization of data collection across jurisdictions in Canada, in order to more effectively reduce the harms of controlled prescription drugs on a national level.
