Sure - Canadian Substance Use Resource and Knowledge Exchange Centre

The Substance Use and Addictions Program (SUAP) of Health Canada provided a grant to the Canadian Coalition for Seniors' Mental Health (CCSMH) to create a set of four guidelines on the prevention, assessment, and treatment of alcohol, benzodiazepine, cannabis, and opioid use disorders among older adults (defined here as age ≥ 65 years). This specific document is intended to provide an introduction to and overview of issues of relevance that are common across substance use disorders among older adults.
