The purpose of this policy brief is to outline Indigenous approaches to harm reduction. The authors also recommend ways in which governments and organizations can incorporate Indigenous approaches to harm reduction into their on-going and future efforts to support the self-defined, self-determined, and distinctions-based health and wellness of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis.
