This report summarizes research on the use of MDMA (street named ecstasy or molly), a synthetically derived chemical used recreationally. Less than 1% of Canadians aged 15 and older reported past-year use of ecstasy and 1 in 25 youth in grades 10–12 reported using it in the past 12 months.
