There are growing concerns globally of the health and social harms caused by alcohol. This rapid synthesis synthesizes the best available evidence on the effectiveness of managed alcohol programs to reduce harm for individuals with severe alcohol-related problems, and to understand the features of managed alcohol programs that have been implemented in Canada.
